PONTEDILEGNO-TONALE SKI AREA
THE FIRST SKI AREA TO OPEN, THE LAST TO CLOSE THE LIFTS.
Pontedilegno-Tonale, the ski area between Trentino and Lombardy, has a wide variety of ski slopes, ranging from Tonale Pass to the Presena Glacier, Ponte di Legno and Temù. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, here you can engage in freeride or snowkite or in additional activities such as fatbiking, ice climbing, snowshoeing and dog sledding.
Snowpark Tonale
When you arrive at the Valena chairlift, in the Pontedilegno-Tonale ski area, you will find a snowpark for expert riders, a park for beginners and a ski cross track with different degrees of difficulty.
THE LONGEST DOWNHILL RUN
Starting from the top of the Presena Glacier, at 3016 metres above sea level, to the historic Paradiso slope, continue on the red Pegrà slope until you reach Ponte di Legno. A descent of 11 km, with a drop in altitude of almost 1800 metres.
PLAYGROUNDS IN THE SNOW
Fantaski and La Bruscadéla: leave the children in the playgrounds in the snow, under the care of the experienced ski instructors, in a safe environment where they can learn to ski and have fun with inflatables and tobogganing.

Even in summer, Tonale Pass and Val di Sole offer countless activities for the whole family. From trekking through the many mapped paths, such as the ascent to the lakes of the Presena riverbed and to the Presena hut at almost 3000 metres, to the numerous MTB excursions or the tracks of the Ponte di Legno – Tonale Bike Park, the first family bike park in Trentino. If you plan an adventure holiday you can try your hand at Canyoning, Rafting, or Paragliding or choose one of the many Adventure Parks suitable even for children.
Bike Park
Fun descent as a return to the valley. From the Tonale Pass and its brand new Bike Park you return to the valley by descending the dirt roads crossing the wide coasts of the Pass, the mountain pastures, the woods, the town of Vermiglio.
PATH OF FLOWERS
Assisted trail in the Adamello-Presanella group. Of great interest from a panoramic point of view, it follows the old trenches with assisted sections, steel cables and suspension bridges. A path to be faced with the right mountaineering equipment and with a good physical condition.
ROCK CLIMBING
MONTICELLI GYM: 40 routes with a maximum height of 120 m. Difficulty between 4b and 8a PALESTRA PARADISO: 10 routes with difficulty between 4a and 6b. Maximum height 33 metres. It can be reached by cable car from Tonale Pass.
TRANSFER INFO
You can travel without using a car throughout the Val di Sole thanks to the bus network, the local train, the Skibus in winter, the Stelviobus, the 3 Bike Bus lines and the Bike Train in summer.
